1750 KW DG Sets in CLW

• CLW has 6 nos 1750 KW DG sets for emergency power supply. The power packs are provided with EGB - 13 P type engine governor. These governors have been suggested to be replaced by PG type EM governor ( such as that of M/S Woodward).




• DG 4 in CPH ( !987) is to be condenmed. CEE has lready approved. Survey could not be finalised for want of copper content.




• DG 5 ( 1995 ) in CPH is shut down since 2004 for want a pedestal bearing ( BHEL ) of AVR with brush and separate excitation.



• DG-2 (1978) is shut down since last 1 month due to 11 KV cable fault.



• Recently Jamalpur workshop has given quotation for IOH ( M-48) and POH (M-96).
